COMING SOON! RASASC COOKERY BOOK!
We're now producing a spiral-bound cookery book, choc-full of delightful RASASC recipes! Also spiced with a sprinkle of illustrations by local support artists. Scheduled to be available from the end of summer 2010.

FLEET TO BATH ON TWO WHEELS
Fri-Sat, 30th-31st July 2010: Colleagues from CHL Mortgages and the SA Church of Guildford cycled from Fleet (Hants) to Bath (Avon) at the weekend, hoping to raise £1,000 for RASASC. Donations in support can still be made online at www.mycharitypage.com/JannieVermeulen until 29th August.

The Rape And Sexual Abuse Support Centre (RASASC) is a voluntary UK charitable organisation providing a range of confidential and caring services to anyone (male or female) whose life has been affected by sexual abuse or rape, whether recently or in the past, in Surrey and beyond.
Sexual trauma can affect people in many different ways. Often there is no one for the person to turn to, no one with whom to share their anxieties. If you would like to talk, call us. Our trained, experienced volunteers deal with all Helpline calls in the strictest confidence. We will listen, carefully and supportively, without making any judgements. We can also explain medical implications, police procedures and provide other supporting information.

Troubled Youth

RASASC's fully qualified and registered voluntary counsellors can also provide counselling where appropriate and necessary for the individual adult or their partner or family. Our counselling extends to providing same-sex self-help group sessions too. If you'd like to talk face-to-face but are unsure about the benefits of counselling, some recent testimonies from clients and staff may assist you.

But we are not funded by government. We have no regular or statutory income, and are entirely reliant on grants, donations, counselling revenue and fundraising events. Just as we support sufferers of unwanted sexual trauma, so we in turn need public support. You can support us in several ways:

• As a volunteer on the helpline • As a counsellor or perhaps a Trustee or Patron, or by sharing your expertise in other ways • By participating in our fundraising events • By donating money or gifts to assist our work • By sponsoring our events and activities. To help RASASC, read more or contact our office to discuss.
