RASASC - Public Downloads

RASASC Outline Drawing The Rape And Sexual Abuse Support Centre (RASASC) is a UK Registered Charity based in Guildford, Surrey, founded in 1992 with the aim of helping male and female survivors of rape or sexual abuse. Clients can talk to us in confidence using our Phone Helpline or through attending individual counselling sessions or our same-sex Self-Help Group Meetings.

We issue regular newsletters and occasional events publicity to fundraising colleagues and supporters which can also be downloaded (below). RASASC also produces advice and guidance leaflets to help those in individual circumstances of need - these are reproduced as guidelines webpages in line with our aim to promote better public understanding of the scale and depth of problems that survivors continue to suffer long after the initial damage of rape or sexual abuse.

RASASC also performs 'educational' work, visiting statutory and voluntary organisations and community groups to talk about the problems of sexual abuse and distribute leaflets such as "Young People - It's Not your Fault" (our publication targeted to increase risk awareness and support understanding among teenagers). But we are not government funded - we exist only by means of occasional grants and business sponsorships, public donations, income from providing counselling sessions and the proceeds of events organised by friends and supporters. Just as we support victims and survivors, we also need your support too. If you've never suffered sexual violence at the hands of someone else, please nevertheless consider offering some help or making a voluntary donation. Every contribution helps a victim to become a survivor.
