Upcoming Fundraising Events

Plains below Mount Kilimanjaro RASASC UP KILIMANJARO !
Mid-January 2012
Mount Kilimanjaro, Tanzania

Prior to the London Marathon 2012 our selected runner Nicola will spend some days trekking on Mount Kilimanjaro, the largest free-standing mountain in the world and the highest in Africa. A dormant volcano rising majestically from the rolling plains of Tanzania to a peak of 5,895m (19,341ft), well above the cloud line, Kilimanjaro's upper slopes are deceptively dangerous having claimed more lives than Everest. Camping in the wild and acclimatising over a few days, Nicola hopes to avoid altitude sickness and reach the summit in aid of RASASC. Donations in support of her double fundraising attempt can be made at www.mycharitypage.com/nicolahenderson or send a cheque to RASASC (Kilimanjaro Trek), PO Box 1009, Guildford, Surrey GU1 9EE, payable to RASASC. All donations in support, however small, are gratefully received.

18TH AGM of RASASC
Tuesday 14th February 2012

The Agenda will include the election of any new Trustees, and this year's guest speaker will be Susan Whitfield of Surrey PCT Community Health Harm Reduction Outreach Service. The event will also coincide with the publication of our next Annual Report.
