Self-Help Group Counselling

For most survivors the road to full recovery is a long and difficult process - and for some, it can take up to two years to reach their goal. Therefore as part of our counselling service we also hold regular Self-Help Support Group meetings for men and women over the age of 16 who are in long-term recovery from the effects of rape or sexual abuse.

Our male-only and female-only self-help groups
are started about twice a year depending on demand.

The two hour meetings run in courses of eight to ten weeks.
They are run by two trained and experienced facilitators.
Each group has between six and eight members.

To request counselling please call our Helpline, or if you have counselling needs that you wish to discuss in depth please contact our Counselling Manager.
